Today is the start of what promises to be an exciting year at Grace Community Fellowship.  We are very pleased to announce that Matt Sweeney, from GCF Wharton, has been named our new Lead Pastor. 

Our founding Pastor Mike Rod made the official announcement, after delivering a great message entitled “From Generation to Generation.”  We all want to welcome Matt, Oksana, and their two boys, Logan and Chase, to the GCF Brenham family.  We can’t wait to see what God has in store for their family and our church. 

We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Pastor Mike and his wife Debera,  who started our church 19 years ago and brought it to where it is today.  Mike has laid a great foundation for Matt to build upon, and has led us with a passion for God and His Kingdom that has changed many, many lives.  Mike will remain on staff here at GCF Brenham in an advisory role until February 2020.
