Dear Church Family & Friends,
As we’re all well aware of, in February of 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine. And, as many of you well know, our church (and the whole GMI church network) has a very close relationship with many churches throughout Ukraine. Pastor Sasha Ozeruga in Vyshgorod is one of our dearest international friends. For over sixteen years now, we have annually led their National Pastors Conference. We have also put on their annual Men’s Conference. And we’ve hosted large groups of pastors out at Charis Canyon for weeks of training, and have done the same for key business leaders from across Ukraine. In short, our deep commitment and ties to Ukraine go way beyond just helping them with building churches and developing a regional retreat center.
I want to encourage all of our members to dedicate time daily to pray for Ukraine — especially for the churches, church leaders, and church members there. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ! Right now, there is no greater (and no better) thing we can do than pray for this nation and these people. Let’s pray that God sovereignly intervenes in this affair, and uses it wonderfully for His ultimate good.
And, if you would like to give financially towards relief for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, I encourage you to visit the link below on our Grace Ministries International (GMI) website, where we have set up an online donation form. 100% of your gift will go directly towards those in need.
We continue to trust in His goodness and grace.
Pastor Matt
