In Matthew 28:19, Jesus says, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Our goal of our discipleship is to assist and encourage Christian men and women — whether new believers, or having walked with the Lord for a long time — in increasing the depth of their relationship with the Lord.  It’s absolutely true that salvation is the most important decision you can make in your life; however, our Christian life only begins there.

Here at Grace, we believe that the church has a responsibility to encourage and train believers in how to live the kind of life that God has called all of us to live.

GCF Brenham offers the GMI Discipleship Series.

This series is available to all members of GCF Brenham, and covers the foundational Christian principles that are essential to each Christian’s walk. 

Professionally produced, the GMI Discipleship Series was developed by the GMI Pastors and leadership, and remains the standard throughout the GMI church network for training, mentoring, and spiritual development. 

The GMI Discipleship Series is offered online as two courses:  Series I and Series II. 

Each series contains 12 individual lessons, for a total of 24 lessons.  In Series I, you’ll discover foundational truths for your Christian walk.  And in Series II, you’ll be challenged to grow with more advanced truths.

The GMI Discipleship Series website allows Students to digitally access the entire series online.  There, you’ll progressively move through each lesson by watching the video lesson (or listening to the audio), and then filling out response questions to go over with your assigned Mentor in a personal meeting that takes place after each lesson is completed.

The Discipleship Series is completely self-paced.  As you complete each lesson, your assigned Mentor will help you make personal application in your life, and functions as a resource for you throughout your entire journey.
